tolstoyed... just whjen i think i might, i lash on autechre
live, afx or squarepusher and i'm imersed in the energy of
the universe.

Having said that i have been listening to a lot of jazz,
afro-beats, pearljam, morrisey, elvis, etc lately so i'm not
too one-sided

Surely you must have listened to absolutely everything
released this year in order to make that claim.
Congratulations, how did you do it?

i've heard a fair amount of decent experimental stuff this
year, but not a tonne of other stuff that was great... only
a few hip hop records, a few rock recs, etc. hopefully i can
track some more down in the last little while.

offline cygnus from nowhere and everyplace on 2005-11-16 20:46 [#01779832]

hmm i will go as far as to say 2005 is the most significant
year of my life (outside of music, etc) because a lot has
changed. i suppose it is suiting that the music is
significant aswell.

offline cygnus from nowhere and everyplace on 2005-11-16 20:47 [#01779833]

so, yeah. 2005 is a superyear.

you might also say that music was necessarily good for you
in the year do to the crazyness of your life beyond it... i
don't mean this to be cynical or nothin'... music just seems
to fill a pretty important role for some people that way, i
know i can think of certain songs for pretty much any
significant life event from the past few years.

think that it was not quite as good as 2002, 2003 or even
2004.

awwwteka live @ glasc0w 2005

whuht

omg so good im listening to it right now

we need a clean rip of se1 london
where they play pro radii twice (brakz3333ake) and do some
CRAZY FAST SHIT at the very beginning

montreal has some good stuff

in the 3rd track
then cut back to the 2nd track for like 3 seconds it's so
hot

but in glasgow during lcc live they cut back to the 1st
track for 3 seconds right at the peak of LCC it's my fav ae
ever
