Dunno if you use Reason, but in the following step:
"Move your cursor into the effect column of row 32 (hexadecimal 20) in the left-most track. You are adding an effect to the note you added in the previous paragraphs. Toggle record mode to on and type in an offset value. In Renoise, 09E7 is a good result."
It reminded me of a problem I often encountered when I started learning renoise and which I'm not sure I ever worked it out: How do I stop it from moving down to the line below afte every character? Currently to enter that offset value, I'm (in record mode and with the first of the 0000's in the fx channel) hitting 'e', then it moves down, so I have to press right arrow, up arrow and then enter the '9', rather than just typing 'e9'.
I'm sure there's an easy fix for this. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks in advance.
