the problem with records shops is that you can't fully
concentrate on the music you're listening to..
...i had that experience with Geogaddi 'cause they have
these really shitty headsets and you have to turn down the
volume because the treble is almost killing you...and then
you get to hear the background music in the record shop. I
mean, Shitney Spears and Geogaddi don't mix.

It's totally different listening to the same album in your
bed. Complete darkness and you get to hear every sound....
another thing i that you can create really some really
disturbing mental music videos while listening to f.ex
Geogaddi.

I also like music on trains. Looking out the window and
seeing all these beatiful landscapes while listening to SAW
II is like therapy for me...

I used to love travelling home from university on the train,
staring out of the window and playing class tunes for four
hours. Its the only time I can remember where I had the
opportunity to really listen to music. Wlakmans are cooul
because you can hear all the little sounds and nuances.

Tis true...theres nothing like a Walkman & a longish train
journey...

I love just wandering the streets of London with my MP3
player up loud...just wandering about, drifting, looking at
buildings etc...mmmmm...lovely....

Especially when the train is leaving Essex. Arf, arf

Yeah. My worst nightmare is being trapped inside a bus
without my Discman, cause i would to have to listen to all
the crappy conversations around me, people coughing and
farting and what not.

I get kinda trippy when i'm wandering around listening to
aphex... it's like the drugs of the past weekend get's
around for on more go...

when i listen to my own music in a discman, I get all "hey,
it's not that bad after all"...

i know what you mean junktion - i have shit speakers, but
when i play my own music on my brother's stereo thru good
new speakers, the sound is transformed

i too, find train journeys thru the countryside very
pleasant except for stinking old women and annoying brats

yesterday Jand was only trying to test people here...kind of
testing our intelligence by the way we reacted to his
attacks
IMO

yeah, I was being playful and everything was said very much
togue in cheek and with a wink...;)..

I dunno whether it's an Essex or English thing but we
endlessly rag each other and trade insults....but yep, I
suppose it doesn't really translate unless you can see my
face...

it's always best to listen to your music thru headphones
when makin it - sounds better and, like someone else said,
more subtle (plus the panning is magic)

I can't. I've got an abnormally large head.

Not really. I don't know how as I'm computer illiterate and
am using my computer in work. Actually I'd better do some
work before I get sacked.

well back to the topic at hand...

I enjoy listening to my discman in a car or bus or train or
whatever, as long as the scenery is changing. I think you
get immersed in the music even more that way.
