pure pop. you know the stuff. the unmistakeable guitar that you can hear being played, but there is no guitar sound. this guitar figure is also what the artist will play if he/she is going to do an "unplugged" version of the song on a concert or a live television show. the piano. it is never a piano and it plays the melody you're likely to whistle if you hear the guitar by itself. the weird synth. there must be some patch called "generic pop synth" in some program or on some synth somewhere and "they" all own this synth. it could be supposed to be some sort of string arrangement, but it just sounds like a weird completely over-synthetic atmospheric synth thingie. it is the same for every pure pop song. the drums. if you strip them the song has no drive, but they aren't good for anything. song titles and lyrics vary from "I'm in love and it is a happy love" to "I'm in love and it is an unhappy love." pure pop. now create some of your own. |

I love the scene where he takes on about 30 guys with his claw hammer. My brother is a real film buff, he rates this really highly as well. |

I love the part where they "sing" that song.. something about a gate.. can't remember exactly, but the whole scene is supposed to have some atmosphere about it and it fails completely.. it's so awesome! |

yeah, so good. I was like, "awesome!" and "gross" at the same time! did you see 3 extremes? that director (kim wookpark?) did one of the short thrillers in it which was very good/funny/gross. |
