There's a lot of really really really shitty people around
using "breakcore" as an excuse to make music consisting only
of overly distorted/clipped amens and tempo-synched angry
voiceclips + the occasional bass-stab. But there's also
people who make cool music and call it breakcore.

In other news, popular breakcore artist Shitmat has changed
his name to MATTY.

if it's getting this popular, it's obviously the beginning
of the end. not that it matters since it is an incredibly
narrow way of making music that has basically run its
course. just enjoy the good stuff while it lasts - until
you begin associating it with car commercials and emo types.

but it is mostly ruddish.

I like some of it, but some of it just gets on my tits. If
people like it, that's cool. It's music. Nothing else.

If the Sunday Times has just picked up on it, then Breakcore
probably died some time ago, about the same time as
the rest of "IDM" did.

You know what's good is country music. Not that Nash-vile
shit with the big hair, sequins and drug addictions, but the
down home stuff with someone's uncle playing fiddle in the
kitchen.

Other genres which do not suck:

electronic experimental
EAI
opera
disco
exotica
weird foreign music by coloureds

The Rise and Fall of Breakcore.

Jungle is invented.

Someone can't quite make Jungle but hamfistedly invents
Breakcore.

Planet Mu releases 10,000,000 different records comprising
of the same track.

Roygbiv releases 14 CD Rs on the Give Daddy the CD Burner
label.

m3rck record label closes.

Breakcore monopoly briefly flourishes before being subsumed
by indifference.

Breakcore dies.

and read to you from David Duke.

Would you believe a Google image search for disco nazi and
this is the best I could come up with?
