sometime ago i set xltronic to refresh every 60 seconds and
i can't remember how. anyway it's annoying and it never
worked properly anyway, somebody please tell me how to
switch it off, all it does it make the xlt tab active
therefore screwing up other tabs i may already have open.

You weirdo! Are you using a special tab extension or the 1.5
release candidate? I'm using 1.07 and I've never seen that
option. Did you get to it by typing about:config in the
address bar (that disturbingly large page of settings)?

Did you install the ReloadEvery extension? If so there
should be a dropdown next to the refresh button, or you can
go tools -> extensions and disable it from there.

Yeah, Phob changed it a while ago and if I remember rightly
he did it for the radio.

i think it has to do with xltradio. refreshing to show the
latest track...even when the radio is offline :s

great! that means i can't keep xlt loaded in another tab
whilst browsing other pages, due to the xlt tab becoming
"active" everytime it reloads itself. surely this can be
changed?

that's a preference setting in about:config, it may work.
