i added vocals to a track ive been working on for a couple
days and i finally have gotten to a point where im not
digusted with my voice, because im really self concious
about it.

since i cant write lyrics for shit, i sang dead dogs two by
clouddead.

please, be gentle.

dead dogs two

the singing sounds good - you have much larger balls than i,
i could never sing on my tracks

my advice would be to keep it ambient when your singing then
have that do dee do dee noise come in when youre not singing
- it would make your vocals more prominent and that melody
hit a lot harder - of course i may be full of shit

thanks for the compliments, this is the first time ive sang
and actually been pleased enough to develop it (ive recorded
vox a few times, but it sounded even worse).

id love to hear what someone who knows the original thinks
of this (i know, absolute shit in comparison :P)

euphonic filter: i pretty much added the vocals as the last
bit of the song, id made a track that needed something
extra, and i threw those vocals on top, and treated em like
any other instrument, which is why i have all those other
synth parts on top. theres no way i want my singing to be
the focal point of the song :P

i just don't like that first little bit of strumming for the
first few seconds.
the vocals fit the track fucking perfectly and sound just
fine.
i feel that the melody is a bit loud and overwhelming, maybe
adjust the levels a wee bit?
tight track though.
i listened to icland just now and this track is a great
improvement!!

Yeah, this is good. Vocals are pretty buried but add a lot
to the track.
