Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine

yeaaaahhh... although it can make you a wee bit aggressive
behind the wheel, leading to wrecks if you're not careful.

autechre + driving has caused me to drift off a bit at
times, which is odd, no other music has done that.

it's strange, it's like the subconcious part of my mind
which normally concentrates on driving (you know, how you
can drive and not really need to think about it) gets kind
of lost in trying to decrypt wtf is going on in the layering
or something. i dunno.

crank up the bass and dump Chris Clark- Empty The Bones Of
You. That cd is a winner when driving.

Drove up to Santa Cruz on highway 17 with that cd going, and
now every time I hear it I get nostalgic memories of that
summer day, surrounded by redwoods on both sides, winding
our way through the forest to our final destination: a noise
show on the beach.

whatever you do, dont listen to any of the latter day
autechre... the only accident i've ever had was when i was
listening to Cap.IV... it was about 45 degrees outside, i
was in heavy traffic, nearly got sideswiped by a bus and
then smack caught the side of a van... very disorientating

You can talk about music you like to listen to while sitting
in a car even if someone else drives ! It's even better
becuz you can concentrate on the music and the landscape.

Nah, it's not the same. Car-music is the music you like to
listen to loud when driving ALONE. I never listen to
car-music with somebody, I'm too nervous.

You can post both kinds of car music in this thread, as long
as you you precise if you drive or not and are alone or not
!
