do you know any vst plugins that merge two incoming oudio
signals that way, that when one is playing the second is
muted ??

Um..... no
You could experiment with Synth Edit. I guess this is
for Live 5....

In fruityloops you could open up a peak controller and then
a formula controller. Have the peak controller assigned to
the incoming sound that you want to be the one cancelling
the audio, then assign knob "a" in the formula controller
assigned to the output of the peak controller, then write a
formula like "(a*1)*-1" for the formula controler and
assigning the volume knob to the instrument you want to be
canceled to the output of the formula controller.

Sorry, that was stupid of me. Formula = "(a+1)*-1"

hey that's not a bad idea! but futureimage was right - it's
meant for ableton live 5. i just hoped that someone made
something like this before in synthedit or whatever. r

I don't think they have. You're going to have to be quite
experienced with Synth Edit and logic aswell, cos it's
probably gonna require some maths somewhere.

can you use reaktor for controlling midi CC in live? Cause
there is an even simpler process to make said controller in
reaktor...

actually - i don't have to in reaktor - this function is
there already as a standalone...

i just would want to have it as a vst - ableton + reaktor is
kinda sucky
