Best linear/story driven game of all time IMO. Doesn't matter how many times you hear it, the chainsaw starting up soundtrack sends shivers down your spine. Some of the extras when you finish it are incredibly hard. Enjoy it, it's a brilliant game. |

You can get the ost from . I've played the game too many times. Although once you get the Typewriter gun I've spent so many endless hours trying to get the Hand Cannon. |

i agree with you... most excellent game. it was an excellent idea to make it a fps rather than a "real" survival horror game; it might not be creepy, but it's beautiful, has a slick gameplay, and it's really fun to shoot the peasants and monsters... besides it has a good replay value and a decent lifetime... excellent in every way. : ) |

anyone hear they are releasing it for PS2 now? it apparently has a bunch of extras not in the original GC version, but the graphics look like shit so there's no need to be too upset. |

It's been out for a while, I rented it to play the bonus missions, worth a rental but not a buy if you've already played it. The graphics certainly don't look like shit, in proscan it looks about as good, very minor downgrade. And it's actually in TRUE widescreen. |

Oh yeah and RE4 in general is pretty much the Alpha Male of video games, every other video game is for RE4 to poop on. |

hmm, well that's cool then. I haven't played the PS2 version, just seen a commercial for it and I definately noticed PS2 jaggies everywhere, but other than that it looked pretty good. |
