if you could somehow contain the power of a nuclear chain-reaction, could you somehow use that energy and convert all to sound?
and if so, am i right when i say one could disperse it at any frequency they ever wanted to? or be able to amplify the most powerful speakers ever known to man...
so, also attached to this device, you have fans. (remember this is nuke power). so, they are the most powerful fans ever known to man.
we know theres no sound in space because theres no air to vibrate. but could you possibly come up with a fan that was powerful enough to blow a jet of air from the earths atmosphere to the mooon, and then use the nuke-frequency thing to play beats. with nuke energy,is it possible?

perhaps. i've been studying geology, and if the proper amount of P-waves or S-waves (seismic waves) could be recorded, put into a program and then perhaps transcribe the intensity / vibration reading and transpose it to sound, then yes, maybe.

If I am not mistaken, a nuclear reaction does cause a sound. Kind of a boom, like any other explosion. If you were to convert the ammount of energy output from one of those reactions straight to a speaker, it would probly dissintigrate the speaker.

could you not convert the thermal/vibrational energy from the explosion to sound?

sound would turn into big grey 'animals' and then kills us all.

just got this answer from a friend;
I saw on an educational website that for energy stored in TNT, 1 Kt = 4.18 x 10^12 joules 1 Mt = 4.18 x 10^15 joules. Atomic bombs are measured in the same scale. We'll assume your box is magic and converts all energy, including radiation, into pure sound. Using the simple idendity that watts = joules/s:
Assume a typical 10 megaton H-bomb. 10Mt = 4.18 x 10^16 joules.
Using a pretty powerful 1,000 watt sound output (and ignoring inefficiencies and stuff) that gives us 4.18 x 10^13 seconds.
