the point is most probably to get more and more emotional
unstable people to watch these shows.

but what's so weird about it?

I like weeping, I think it's good catharsis. Sometimes I
feel sad and crying would make me feel better but I can't
cry. Also sometimes I get weird spasms and don't know why.
Watching cartoons solves it, usually.

sometimes you have to let it out. it's natural.

but emotions bring ratings. it seem you need to remind the
masses of their humanity.

people's lives are just so emotionally empty that they have
to watch that melodramatic bullshit to fill some kind of
void.

If everybody in life actually realized what a miserable
predicament we're in as human beings, I think everyone would
cry alot more.

best answer that.

i just find it silly because in most cases it's really
obvious they're faking it. even in reality shows..i have
never met that emotional people. jerks.

yeah, it was the weirdest thing. i say, "oh, hello. nice
to meet you." and they're like, "nice to mee--- OH
WHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" and then start bawling at full
force and get tears all over me, face all red... it's kind
of gross as well.

crying is just a symbol of release, course you don't need it
but in your map of symbols you can't move on until the
crying one has fallen into place

i guess the point is none of this has meaning objectively,
wherever the objective viewpoint is - outside thought?

is there a way you could put that in a more abstract form?
