it is sad for the two guys but as dog belch said, it's
nothing to do with the way policemen acted...
the subject is a bit more complex than what people are
saying here...

poor people in bad living conditions are easy to manipulate,
wether it is by powerfull drug dealer who don't want their
playground cleaned by policemen or by politicians more than
happy to see a rival (presidencial elections aren't far
away...) being charged with all the faults...

i'm not pro-sarkozy, but i'm laughing away when people say
it's his fault

Election are coming soon, SSarkozy is just manipulating them
(and us also) because he wants to exploit the fear of
immigrants

I think this is all kicking off because there is a lot of
racism in France. Let's face it, Le Penn nearly won an
election. In Britain, the far right (the BNP and such) are a
joke. Plus they need to moderise their economy, 80's tory
style.

you're totally right mate....This is a racism problem....A
very BIG problem actually...

But the fact is that some people rioting are also
racists!but racists towards "white" people and French
Republic :/

Yeah, I guess Britain is less divided because we don't give
a shit about society or other people in general, we're much
more capitalist.

People are afraid of capitalism in France: There are strikes
every time that something change :/

The French are now disqualified from hosting foreigners
that're beyond a certain frenchness threshold, and repeat
rioters should be kicked out of the country.

I mean, people only show each other what they want the other
to see.
Take any two people arguing, whether it turns to bickering
or mediation is intentional.
What I remember being pretty funny is coming on as really
arogant by being totally cool and considerate, albeit a
little offbeat, and french people thinking I was making fun
of them when I came back to the country... as though
fairplay and common sense was symptomatic of malice.

I wonder how legal it would be to revoke someones
citizenship... whether that would cause ruckus in the
international court.

Stupid, destructive people like rioting. People who view the
act of rioting as directly political, the way a protest is,
are reading too much into it/crediting the rioters with more
intelligence than they deserve. It's like being in the crowd
at a football match- they just like letting go and engaging
in destructive mob mentality.

Has any rioter given a reasonable, believeable answer to the
question, "Why are you rioting, rather than protesting?"

the riots would stop at once if they told them to fuck away
home.

These are mostly children of immigrants and French citizens,
so I've heard.

Agreed. Just say "anyone caught rioting gets deported
tomorrow" and then actually back it up with some force.
Watch the rioting stop literally overnight.

I really don't see how people can fail to see how simple a
solution it'd be and it's hardly unjust. Bloody hell, if I
emigrated to America and then started playing up, I'd hardly
consider it a violation of my human rights if I was then
sent back home.

Two reasons for France's rioting:

Shitty left wing economy with high unemployment.
Shitty right wing rascist opinions of non-whites.
