I dunno, looks OK. Cybil in her cop uniform looks kind of
alarmingly out of place, but the other shots don't really
offend me. Nice to see them attempt to recreate the
alternate ''rust'' world from SH1.

I don't expect a really good movie but I do expect something
better and more tr00er than what Resident Evil got. And
especially better than what Alone in the Dark, Doom, Street
Fighter, Double Dragon, Super Mario Bros, Mortal Kombat et
al got. Faint praise, I know.

It can't possibly live up to Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill
2, which collectively haunted me more than any movie, but as
long as it's kind of OK, that will be a stepforward for
video game-to-feature film adaptations. BTW I replayed
Silent Hill 3 on Halloween, well got two-thirds through it
at least. So damn aweslime, that game is so chock full of
genuinely creepy set pieces and images.

I at least love this shot-

I dunno the director either, but at least Roger Avary has
been involved in some OK stuff. I jacked off to Killing Zoe
once, that's gotta be worth something.

Sean Bean is in this, I just noticed. Score!

its the same director that directed "Brotherhood of the
Wolf" which is a damn good movie. I hope he doesnt fuck it
up either but of all directors he could be made for this
movie.

hmm.. I'm probably going to watch it, but I won't have high
hopes... I think it could be more fucked up if it was 100%
japanese...

Sounds like the movie is coming together well then, good
people working on it. I feel better about the movie now than
I did when I made this topic. Splendid.

Bamp, I forgot to mention, Akira Yamaoka IS doing the music
for this movie which basically guarantees the movie will at
least be worth [i[hearing[/i] since he's the best musicmaker
currently making music. I remember somebody other than me
worrying about this.
