WTF is this supposed to be? lol... I downloaded this album
because it made a few peoples "best album of 2005" in
another thread, and I was about to chuck it into the recycle
bin because of the emo lyrics, when I came across this song
"John Wayne Gacy, Jr." He was a serial killer that dressed
as a clown and abused and murdered young boys, then hid the
bodies in a crawlspace.

Anyway, this song is hilarious. It seems to be full of
emotion and sentiment, but I cannot figure out if it's being
sarcastic or not. If it is serious, this is the most
ridiculous song I've ever heard.

That line:
"Even more, they were boys, with their cars, summer jobs...
ohhhh my goooooooddddddddd" and his voice gets all high and
womanly as he says God. Gave me a good laugh for at least a
minute.

It's OK to be emotionally moved by Sufjan, and it's also OK
to find him silly and funny.

It's OK to be you and me.

"it's OK to be you and me" - go suck Dr. Phil's filthy balls
(I mean that in a good way: I would do it too had I the
chance).

that song is great it's not sarcasm, the melody is beautiful
and sad.

it's like saying OMG Aphex twin is ridiculous, I heard thois
track where the melody is all emotional and stuff but in the
background the beat is harsh, loud and almost unlistenable,
WTF most funny thing ever. Is he joking?

people who think emo is extra emotional and feel like they
have to defend having feelings make me lose the tiny little
shred of faith i had left in humanity.

people defending their feelings makes you loose faith in
humanity?

that's actually, very very stupid. it's like you are...
dumb.. or.. something.

or just not as smart and profound as you think you are.

I want extra emo on this pizza. I mean, I want girls to
update their lifejournals with pictures of dead circus
clowns when they eat this pizza. I want this pizza to taste
like a song about dead grandparents.

So mister pizza man, make my pizza with extra emo.
