In TV shows. I find verry annoying. When the camerra cuts
back and forrth frrom closeup to long distance shots of
people talking, I get a headache. I'm talking specifically
when it's to no effect at all otherr than an easy way to add
some kind of life to a dull scrript orr to be quirrky.

Same goes for the newer horror movies. Hell, even cunningham
is getting a bit boring using that effect all the time. I'm
starting to find fast editing less appealing.

Yep, stuff like The Shield is absolutely unwatchable,
it doesn't even make sense.

I hate fast editing, shaky cameras and all that other stupid
'modern' stuff.

I've noticed that American TV is much much faster edited
than British. I think perhaps British viewers have something
of a longer attention span.

By being incredibly inventive and groundbreaking instead of
being gimmicky and annoying, I suppose.

they just want people to get the feeling there's
something going on.

it sucks.

on the opposite side: those fucking reality shows where
they, right before "revealing the one to be voted out," take
a three-ten minute break in talking and just show all the
peoples ugly faces with annoying "tension" music (heavy
reverbed drums and distant piano) are fucking annoying crap
penis torch ass.
