Excluding all mixes, what's the longest track you have on
your computer?

Delìrium Còrdia by Fantômas is 74 minutes long... but you
may say it's "cheating" with all the looped vinyl crackle in
the end. : )

Boris has some pretty long tracks too, and great ones.
Absolutego is 65 minutes long, Flood is 70 minutes long...

There isn't a lot of music that annoys me silly, but that
Goldie track 'Mother' is one of them. It would probably have
been ok if it were 6 minutes instead of being
stre-e-e-etched to 60... although the rest of the album
isn't very good either.

Anyway, back on topic, the longest track I have is the 40
minute mix of Blue Room by The Orb, closely followed by the
bonus cd version of The Box by Orbital which is 39 minutes
or something.

the longest track i have is 3 hours and 50 minutes long...
obviously it has been divided, but only for the purpose of
convenience (like say if you're me, and your cd player shuts
off when you take a bump)... the music itself is all of a
piece.

my mate's brother used to do 999bar long epics in rebirth,
at 130bpm

he also tried to get into LIPA (Liverpool Institute for
Performing Arts) doing a Music Tech orientated course, but
according to him they turned him down because he was "too
good for the course".

i say he just flunked the interview

I got turned down by LIPA too after performing terribly at
the interview... quite a relief in retrospect, living in the
centre of Liverpool for 3 years would have broken my spirit.
