used to like them in college and am now going through small revival listening to em:
Love porch, breath, no code album, alone, ten, yield etc.
I think "no code" has got a great collection of intrumental snippets that i plan on plundering from to do some remixing electronica style. a crazy plan but i just might work.
I'm not too familiar with their stuf after yield.
Any other fans? Any news on these chaps these days?

yes, i liked them some 12 years ago, but don't listen to anymore..
i think i've heard one of their recent songs and thought it was nice, but i get this weird feeling whenever i think of the actual people in the band. they seem a bit weird, especially vedder. i think i hate the fact that they want to turn out somehow serious and that makes them a bit pretentious..not in a radiohead pretentious way because obviously their music is far better, but pretentious in context of seattle music scene. music is still nice though but im just uncomfortable liking it, if that makes any sense :)

I like "Binaural" (2000). V. good, with some spacy guitars here and there. Not very standart Pearl Jam I think. Varied.
And their bootlegs are a fair bet. They've released dozens of them from many countries, and it's the best way to tell if they're still can do it.

i still like theri music, its cheap to be a fanclub member, plus you get a good little christmas goodie
they are recording for an early 2006 release, quick little tour in europe
they have evolved a lot, not the angst of "Ten"
Viva la vinyl.
