congotronics

African music made with homemade electric thumb pianos,
homemade microphones with magnets salvaged from car parts,
etc.

Just. Fucking. Incredible.

whoah!

that is indeed awesome! I can't find any samples, though..
when I click audio, it just changes the image on the bar on
top...

I got one of those thumb-pianos (regular one), but I've
never been able to record it properly.. it just doesn't give
off enough sound... I guess I just need a better mic.

I heard about this a while back, I think. Jason Forrest
posted about it on the Mu board.

it's pretty spectacular.

me.

awesome! (I'm blind and dumb. excuse me)

but certainly not deaf, and I'd never want to be.. that'd
deprive me of too much goodness. it's typical that I won't
find this very easily, though.

I have an album by these guys, very good stuff. They were at
Roskilde this year as well, but I was seeing something else
at the time of their performance. Probably the inside of a
sleeping bag.

It's excellent and also all the songs sound the same.

Haha, yeah, they are pretty similar. The standout track is
Kule Kule because it's the most different. Paradiso is also
a bit different and also very good.
