It appears you got some marshmellow sauce smeared on that
photo. I mean it looks cool and all "arty" and such but in
this thread people might get confused and not recognise
flordia.

Wilma was very atypical for a storm this late in the
season.

I bet she was wearing a tight T-shirt and it got all wet :(
I wish I was in the direct path of a major hurricane.

don't most hurricanes that hit our eastern seaboard head
your direction after they're done with us?

Yes, but they don't bring fit, wet, females with them.

That's odd... they must drop them all over here then.
Because I had to wade through a pile of them on my way to
work this morning.

damn them hurricanes! the only one we've had flung our fit
wet females all the way to bali... it left a throng of male
porcupines instead.

my friend in west palm just got power back about two hours
ago.

he had shuttered up all the windows in his house and he said
the sliding glass doors were still bending inward
significantly during the gusts. the eye passed right over
him. cool i guess.

Lots of rain in Orlando. Some tornados were close by, but
not too much damage here. Tree limbs/leaves/etc everywhere.

the thunder too much.

This was the best hurricane ever for me.. (respect to the
people who lost homes or lives in this one) but where I
live, all the hurricane did was deposit some rain for a few
days, and then bring about the nicest weather we've had all
year. it's 60 degrees F outside and mostly sunny.. When you
live in Florida that is pretty much as good as it gets.

I guess I should mention that it was 88 degrees before the
hurricane came through, and also that we had a cold front
come down too so it's not entirely the hurricane's doing.
All I know is I get to wear pants and a jacket today and I'm
happy.

Oh man it was nice putting on pants and wearing a light
jacket for the first time in months.

yeah, though us Floridians will put on sweatshirts if the
temperature drops 5 degrees from the summer norm, haha.

what part of orlando you in? I live sort of in the UCF
district of Orlando, though I'm about 20-25 minutes from the
school.
