nope. its a group of london based independent electronic music labels - ai, expanding, highpoint lowlife, seed, srl & uncharted audio, plus bleep.com & promoters furthur,info. they have all been meeting up for the last 9 months, trading ideas & helping each other out with advice on manufacturing, legal stuff, press etc in the face of an industry which is in a bit of a state at the moment. this is the first sampler compilation, each label has paid their share for the manufacturing, and contributed 2 tracks. its not for profit - the money from these goes back into promoting electronic music from london - running nights, putting out more label samplers, buying advertising space and sharing it out amongst the smaller labels who couldnt do it on their own, etc. so have a listen, if you like it, support the cause by buying a copy. its a gorgeous little CD. |
