I've heard "IDM" music (for a lack of calling it anything better) used in some pretty strange instances, but I had to laugh pretty hard just then when 'windowlicker' was used as the background music to some lingerie TV show, catwalk and all.

What wierd contexts have you seen/heard IDM used in?

Windowlicker was in a vh1 hot girls countdown or something similar a couple days ago.

I wasn't watching it, just to be clear, I would stick my face in a fan first.

I know somebody that says Overand was on Animal Planet. That would have been nifty. I personally heard Overand in a screener version of that Robin Williams movie where he plays the insane film developing guy, dunno if it was on the final soundtrack. Overand works in any situation.
