Does anyone here remember the "Creatures" games by CyberLife? Though they were frustrating and flawed, I still think they were up there with some of the best PC games of all time. I used to spend ours enjoying the ambient music, pretty 2D artwork, and the virtual eco-systems, norn behaviours, and genetic stuff that you could muck about with. If you put the effort in, it was a fantastic package. Mind you, I also used to enjoy the tamagotchi, so ignore what I have to say. :-) |

Yeah. It was really fun. :-) Especially killing the creatures. You had access to most real chemicals to inject, but since I have no knowledge of bioloigy, it always just used to be cyanide. ;) Or, you could overdose the critters on carbon dioxide and watch their breathing drain, along with their life-force. |
