"Creatures", old PC game.

Does anyone here remember the "Creatures" games by
CyberLife? Though they were frustrating and flawed, I still
think they were up there with some of the best PC games of
all time. I used to spend ours enjoying the ambient music,
pretty 2D artwork, and the virtual eco-systems, norn
behaviours, and genetic stuff that you could muck about
with.

If you put the effort in, it was a fantastic package. Mind
you, I also used to enjoy the tamagotchi, so ignore what I
have to say. :-)

sounds pretty fun though. :)

Yeah. It was really fun. :-)

Especially killing the creatures. You had access to most
real chemicals to inject, but since I have no knowledge of
bioloigy, it always just used to be cyanide. ;) Or, you
could overdose the critters on carbon dioxide and watch
their breathing drain, along with their life-force.

ZOOL!

Blast from that past... that bad boy rocked my world. I
remember the pickn'n'mix level, with the big bee boss at the
end. Wooo

It was on the mega drive also, I'm sure you could find the
ROM fairly easily.

i bought zool 2 on cdrom back in the day from a shady
computer store for like $2.

i later learned that most of the stuff in that store was
stolen merchandise. score!
