Anybody go to www.thesquarerootof-1.com? I'm sure this is already been mentioned as it's linked from the BoC site. Is there anything to it? What with positive and negative signs and all? It's interesting, but boring quite fast as it seems to do nothing. |

I think it's quite bold of logical minded mathematician folk to use a concept like imaginary numbers. 'i' is like a made up solution to an unsolvable problem. It is simply imaginary, or was until it was created, or something. I suppose it has application somewhere, otherwise no one would have thought to preach it. |
