Yea! They finally put up on the website who is playing at
the concert this year. Go to www.coachella.com. It's gonna
be pretty good (except for Oasis). I guess I'll be going.

Looks like a pretty good lineup except, as you said, for
Oasis :P

i checked out the entire lineup they have so far...i'm
definitly going both days!!! =) i'll prolly MELT there cos
it's sooo HOT. but when i saw bjork & mos def (who was
amazing in his role in the movie Monsters Ball) would be
there, i could not pass up the opportunity to see them.

it'll be interesting to see if oasis actually ends up
playing, those gallagher boyzz are always fighting!! =]

hi! you know i have to say i could NOT get into it. the
melody line was so obsured by what i call NOISE...eheheh

but my bf suggested i check out Lp5 and so i think i'll d/l
a few tracks off that. i don't think i'll ever get used to
confield, oddly enough tho, i'd love to see autechre in
concert. maybe a live experience will change my mind about
their music =}

well, lp5 IS probably a tiny bit more melodic. if you don't
like arch carrier and track 3 (i forget the title) of lp5,
you might as well stop trying :)

autechre live... i dunno, i hear they like to alienate their
fans during their shows

bamboozled is a spike lee joint - mos def plays a member of
a militant hiphop group - he is really good in it - at first
i thought "shit that's mos" then he talked and i thought
"nah it can't be" but it was!

ROAD NARROWS - whereabouts in tucson are you?

heheh alienate.... well i missed them in the states in the
late summer/fall of last year. my bf went to the show, and i
think i washed my hair or something!! =)

i'll try Lp5, esp for my bf's sake cos he really thinks i
need to listen to them more to appreciate the intricies of
autechre's music. and perhaps he's right. i'm willing to
give it another try!!

marlowe, I go to the University of Arizona. So I guess
that's the center of Tucson since there is not much else
here.

By the way, Monster's Ball was an incredible film. Did
anyone see this? I thought it was superb. The film got a
little slow in places, but it was overall one of the better
films I have seen in a while.

monster's ball really impressed me. i didn't know what to
expect when i went in. even (sigh ...) puff daddy impressed
me. for me, it's rare to watch a movie and totally believe
i am watching the character as opposed to the actor. i
mean, the most stand out example for me is anthony hopkins
in silence of the lambs. but everyone in this movie did
it.

and this is so off topic, sooooo ... :

yeah, coachella. cool!
