Bird Flu? Ohhhhh, I'm scared.
I'd be worried if it was Bird Cholera or Bird Herpes or
something. Bring it on motherfuckers!

the death toll is over 50% though... the flu pandemic of
1918 had only a 2.5 - 5% or so mortality rate. If it breaks
out it has the capability to kill a billion people or more.

We'll just need to hope it doesn't mutate to be transferable
between humans

Every year, the media runs scare stories about Bird Flu, and
every year nothing happens. (In the west anyway.)

"in asia 65 people have died from bird flu since 2003. thats

Exactly, it's all scaremongering bullshit to sell papers.

Yeah. The news needs something different to get people
talking. Nothings changed with the Iraq situation really
because in the view of most people the US is there and doing
stuff and thats it. since they got there.

Then what else... kidnappings and missing persons? Man do
those tend to get drawn out a bit

I suppose the whole Iranian arms in Iraq thing is a new
development on events though. We sold them all in the first
place anyway.

The last five times have been. You don't think it's media
hype, because it's been hyped by the media.

Experts say people in the UK are at "very low risk" of
developing the disease at present.

^^^ i see no hype
i see no panic or scare :P
it seems to be more panic form peoepls reactions to the news

Americans will be alright because once it mutates and starts
infecting humans, our loving president george bush is going
to use the military to herd us into infection camps and lock
down the country.

death is inevitable in every form.

people shouldn't be more scared then their own natural
'scared of death' instincts.. and being brainwashed into
fear isn't a natural instinct.

maybe if people would stop supporting what is brainwashing
them, we wouldn't have such a big 'fear' problem.
