Dntel - Life is Full of Possibilities

Couldn't find this in the discography.
here

Such a calming album. Glitchy beats with vinyl hiss, slicy
ambient chords, beautiful vocals here and there. It's just
what I needed.

Discuss.

It's pretty nice, the title track and fear of corners are
good/great. Not something i play a lot, though. Dntel seems
to be on ziltyradio all the time for some reason.

I played this for my ex-girlfriend as she was falling
asleep in my chair a few days before she broke-up with me.
Five months later she got engaged to this other guy who she
recently married. I am periodically seeing this beautiful
girl who is seven years younger than me, but she doesn't
seem very interested. Life is so sad...

Hey, I'm mailing you a copy of the new album as soon as I
can get to the post office (it's the weekend and they're all
closed). Finished the artwork - picture I took at Coney
Island, NYC. Have you sent me a copy of your stuff yet?
(been checking the mail) I put 20 copies of my new one out
for grabs at my local record store yesterday.

Hey man, sorry i never mailed you back, bad habit of mine.
Yeah yours is in the post, sent it off yesterday so you
should have a copy fairly soon i guess (clic and mertens
too, sorry it took so long guys). Artwurk ain't up to much,
just single-sided photocopy chic, but isn't that all
the rage right now? Who knows with the kids these days,
frankly.

I'd vaguely considered trying to shift a few down the local
independent music places, never seen any out for free before
though and i wouldn't expect anyone to pay for my crap,
haha. May investigate at some point.

I bought this CD from my best friend after he dismissed it.
It really grew on me. Great to listen to in the middle of
the night. It's too quiet for much else, though.

i have this on my mp3 player at the moment. good for
sleeping on the plane or when bussing. some of the beats are
maybe a bit too cheap, i would almost say some of the tracks
would be better of without them.

cheers

LIFOP is good, but I agree with oyvinto about the beats
being cheap.

Early Works for You if it Works for Me has a few good tracks
on it too, but I'll be damned if some of the beats don't
ruin the otherwise good tracks. High Horse Theme is ace,
though.
