and I'd really like to see them rock a few of those tunes,
particularly Marry, track 7.

well he whole world is built upon some kind of moral (hidden
under a religion suit)
most of the cultural heritage in this world grows around
religion/moral
as well as all our popular customs
as well as all our laws
....

yes, afetr all that most of the people are inmoral from time
to time... but that doesnt mean it is underrated... we all
have it in mind... eventhough we follow it or not... when we
dont, we very well have it in our minds kknowing we are not
acting correctly

offline cuntychuck from Copenhagen (Denmark) on 2005-10-15 04:39 [#01750362]
Points: 8603 Status: Lurker | Followup to nacmat: #01750357

moral in a non religious sense.

lets say military companies that supported the nazi's.
us stealing oil from iraq.
and the recent from denmark, politicians who say something
racist and withdraw it the day after.
tons of examples.

success in expense of moral, look at television, look at
mtv, look everywhere.

offline nacmat on 2005-10-15 04:59 [#01750374]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker | Followup to cuntychuck: #01750362

I agree... there are tons of inmoral acts in this world

but all of them are done knowing that they are acting bad...
cos the moral shadow is there.. they just break it...

what I mean is that moral is not underrated, we all have it
in mind, no matter how little we follow it

I know this doesnt make sense... welll it does in my mind

oh and moral might not be a religious sense, but religion is
built upon moral, you like it or not

Overrated: Lord of the Rings (The book, film, the whole
caboodle)

Underrated: Death in Vegas' Album 'Satan's Circus'. Great
hybrid of techno/rock/dance music that sounds like a cross
between chemical brothers, kraftwerk and primal scream.
Almost criminally overlooked. Even people I know who loved
the first 3 albums don't seem to of heard of this. Plus it
comes with what is effectively a live 'best of' album (DIV
Live in Brixton)

PG for mature subject matter.

Points: 6447 Status: Lurker | Followup to Zephyr Twin: #02100330

don't hit me, but episode iv. i still like it a lot but i do
think it's overrated. in my opinion the empire strikes back
tops it in every way, from directing to acting to pacing to
settings.

offline Zephyr Twin from ΔΔΔ on 2007-07-06 20:38 [#02100332]

I agree that Empire Strikes Back is easily the superior
film. I had alway thought that to be the general consensus,
so in my experience IV isn't over-hyped. Though, it would be
different for someone who has heard IV described as a better
film than V, which I'm assuming you have.

underrated: xltronic

overrated: Tarantino directed films - really, i don't find
them as great as a lot of people seem to. and a lot of the
time a lot of people seem to applaud him simply because of
the "cool" factor, and just trying to go along with everyone
else's opinions

kind of like when Thom Yorke heard about BBC's Culture Show
getting Squarepusher on for interview and immediately
stating "i'm on that!"
