The first Professor of Physics at the University of
Queensland, Professor Thomas Parnell, began an experiment in
1927 to illustrate that everyday materials can
exhibit quite surprising properties.

World's longest experiment

yes, that's the most bizzare thing I've heard about since
many, many months. human beings are unpredictiable. besides
this experiment is so unpractical and (seemingly)
irrelevant, that you just have to admit it's pure genius,
and wonderfully mysterious at the same time.
