well it depends on which aphex ur talking about.

alot of it (ie pre-rdj album) is extremely repetetive, but
excellent none the less.

high frequency bomus track is sort of repetitive yeah..but
there are songs that aren't.

and yes, i like it repetitive. usually my fav thing if the
loops are good :)

How would you classify Autechre? Their songs are basically
the same loops, but the percussion is always changing and
growing into something else...

I sense some sarcasm in that weird avatar of yours.

Does this sound sarcastic - I think they are overrated.

yes, that's because you usually get to hear every song
reversed as well.

NO no no no

what i meant was

when i play electronic music for my non-electronic friends,

they will either say "oh it's all repeating over and over"

or another moment they will say

"that sounds completely random, there is no structure"

that's the only 2 things i've heard to describe electronic
music

lolz

there are only two types of people who listen to electronic
music: those who believe there are only two types of people
who listen to electronic music, and those who don't.

people only use the word repetitive when they don't like
what's repeating.

verse verse chorus repeat
