i guess so. so two fridays ago at a party i told one of my best friends that ive had a crush on her basically since we met a year ago. now, i dont wanna date her, i dont want romantic entanglement, its more innocent than that. just a crush. when it comes down to it, i just plain adore the girl. but i couldnt articulate this well at all due to being quite drunk at the time. since then, she hasnt returned any of my calls, and the first time i saw her, once it was just me and her, she left. the other time was last friday when she came to a party at my house, but obviously i couldnt articulate anything yet again due to being really mashed and fucked up on opium as well (highly reccomended btw) so thats about it. i seem to have lost one of my best friends due to making the cliched mistake of trying to express my feelings while drunk. so now im gonna whine and await you guys to shoot me down for being such a pussy. whine. whine. whine. the end. |

LOL! i think we all have to go through this at one time or another. There should be a word that accompanys this feeling. Dont worry about it. At least you know you said something as opposed to looking back in life and wishing you did or wondering what would have happened. :) Use this oppurtunity to break the ice with her. "hey i hope you arent all weirded out" or something of that order. Explain that its a compliment of the highest form because she contains numerous qualitys that are awesome and girls of her caliber are rare. Explain thats why you couldnt contain yourself and had to say something! |

Would it be possible to contact her at all? like any small percentage? or is this clear cut avoidence (did i just invent a word?) This is a tough one to handle. I've been there and usually try to avoid the girl to make it easier. Too bad though. Her reaction seems immature if you really analyze it. I mean why avoid someone. Unless it was the way you expressed/worded it. |

well i could always walk to her apartment and just knock on the door, but i think that would be a little too forceful. i want her to want to talk to me. and its not that shes immature, shes just a really weird girl. and btw i dont regret it at all, its just awful feeling having put that kind of thing out there, and it being unresolved for over a week now. shes one of my best friends, and i flat out fucking miss her. |

if only, if only. i dont have any drugs at all actually. even hardly any alcohol, and thats shared housemate stuff so i cant just go and finish it all and drown my sorrows. but god some opium would be fucking great right now. |
