LAZY_Pond
I dug it together with my dad. I also dug a hole for the the
path on the left. we are moving to a new house in a couple
of weeks and my mom wanted a pond. and guess what...I had to
dig it. it is quite big. 2 m on 6 m.
you cannot imagin how much sand we had to carry out.
blisters on my hands, backpain, armpain, asspain,... but the
result is nice. I also dug a hole for the terras but that's
not on the picture.

Congratulations on your achievement, but this is not a pond.
This is more of a stationary water container.

when i think of a pond, i don't think of something as small
as a fishtank.

but i think it will look nice there regardless of what you
call it.

Seriously, have you obtained some information about how to
make your own pond?

I might be wrong but I don't see any difference in height,
which is necessary to get a perfect balance. Different
height levels will cause the water to circulate and that way
you'll achieve the right biological balance.

What if it rains a lot, is there an overflow?

i think your mom will be less enchanted about the pond when
you start getting malaria from the mosquitos. or at least,
like, itchy from the biting and the sucking and the
scratching and the things of that nature.
