after a while slsk will take up nearly 99% of my cpu, and i
will have to shut it. this happens pretty often, and nearly
always if i let it run for extended periods of time. have
anyone experienced anything similar or does anyone know
whats causing it? i have the newest version, but i think
this happened with older versions as well.

run ad-aware and re-install slsk.

in any order, but run ad-aware after re-installing slsk.

slsk is a cpu-hogger from hell. mortsto-x told me everytime
he started slsk, his computer shut down. i never experienced
that myself, tho.

Works fine on my Cel600Mhz, SLSK version 1.56c. There is a
list of uncompatible software like Netlimiter for example
which makes it crash very often.

Yep. It sucks. The most important program on the computer
dammit.
