todæge, to dæge "on (the) day," from to "at, on" (see to)
+ dæge, dative of dæg "day."

Generally written as two words until 16c., after which it
usually was written to-day until early 20c. Similar
constructions exist in other Gmc. languages (cf. Du. van
daag "from-day," Dan., Swed. i dag "in day"). Ger. heute is
from O.H.G. hiutu, from P.Gmc. *hiu tagu "on (this) day,"
with first element from PIE pronomial stem *ki-, represented
by L. cis "on this side."

I had to work today so no music until about an hour ago.

Sundays are very good to me because I usually don't have to
work, at the most 5 a year.

To-day [to'dei]:
Jam tomorrow and jam yesterday, but never jam today.
Never put off till tomorrow what can be done today.
Better an egg today than a hen tomorrow.
Here today and gone tomorrow.

Nacho, sundays for me over here usually beach day. But I
like mostly to relax, listening to my favorite music, in
ocassions just sit lazy here, just getting ready for the
week, even though I dont think that much in whats gonna
happen during the week. But, yes, love sundays here, can't
really complain about it. I can go either to the beach or to
the mountains, maybe our Rain Forest and relax there for a
while :)

Ahh. I sailed on a steamship today. And read a book. And
listened to some crappy music.

Gah, I got some lectures tomorrow morning. At eight.

I use my sundays for sleeping mainly. I also listen a lot of
music of course, then usually I go out with friends etc.

i hate sundays because i think of the week that is about to
begin just after, and i have to do homework for it, also the
shops are all closed etc... -_- (but these days it's ok
since i don't work on mondays (yet).)

there's not a lot to say about it. i don't do "carpe diem"
because otherwise i would probably never do any work and get
completely wasted all evenings (not that i work a lot
anyway, but i'd work even less if i thought "carpe diem").

today was my birthday. but not this today we're in right now
as i write this. a somewhat previous today. but it is also a
today to come, i guess. unless i die first; but even so, it
might be still considered as my birthday. i don't know.

what else?

i like that song very much, "today". (by the smashing
pumpkins, i mean - there must be a lot of songs in the world
called "today".)

Dear Diary

Today I played a great polomatch against "the south side
swingers." We won. It was great. I then returned to my royal
palace and listened to music.

I love my pink cap.

Today was weird, barely qualified as a day. I was awake
pretty much all of Friday and Saturday so I slept/laid in
bed most of Sunday. Not a waste, though, very enjoyable. We
always have family dinners on Sunday and the chaos and
bustle grates on me so I'm glad I slept through that.

there was an annoying family dinner on saturday for me
too...

but if i had slept through it my mother would have tried to
wake me up every five minutes and would have got mad at
me...

I've just got up, had a burrnt-sausage bun and now I'm just
killing time. Having a long weekend is grreat but I end up
doing less than I would with a norrmal weekend. I was hoping
I'd have a stinking hang-overr today but lately it seems
beyond me to get one. I have no idea why. I'm immune to
them.

In an hourr orr so I'm off down the job centerr to look forr
something new.
