I like this Chemical' song very much, it's full of energy,
the rhythms are greats... really a good works! Pump on the
volume... and IT BEGAN IN AFRIKA... TUMP, TUMP, TUMP!
Anyway I think "Come With Us" is a good album.

I haven't bought it yet. But I think "Star guitar" is a
really good video.

Come With Us is a good album, The Chems always come through
with thier own dope style.

That song completely bugs the hell out of me purely because
of that voice sample.

"It began in Afrika-ka-ka-ka" :P

The ONLY thing I DONT like about that song is the lions
roars and animal noises....

Otherwise...good track

what the ... ? tom & ed 's new album is crap, simply trance
& house crap. the primary and second album was good, the dj
albums too, but surrender and come with us aren't the real
chemicals, to commerical for me...sorry.

everything the chemicals have done since 'song to the siren'
has been a bit touch and go. come with us is possibly the
worst piece of commercial shite i have ever had the
misfortune to listen to - although track 5 (Hoops) is
particually good the rest is bollocks.
listen to Hoops
(a very TLS type tune) but do not even think about buying
the album.

the chemicals have completely lost
touch with their roots and the very surroundings that made
them what they were, ie good.

Ill agree with both of you...they DO NOT sound like they
used too....

Live they still kick ass...

Did you like the "Brothers gonna work it out" mix....?

I thought it was good ass old-school

I'm really fond of the opening song of the album, come with
us... that's a real stomper...

Love to play on my way to my favourite club...

Havent heard anything from Come with us except for Star
Guitar, which I really like and I love the clip. I don't
mind the Chemical Bros, while not a huge fan I do enjoy Dig
your own hole and Surrender.

i can't see the interest in chemical bros. music today.
their sound is boring. we already had this: afrika bambaata
with leftfield, etc....

*boring*

just my two €-cents,

some monkey had the virus, and some human culture there had
lots of contact with the monkeys... and it begun... its the
mostly accepted theory

today nobody knows exactly where aids came from. doesn't
matter actually. it's HERE. so useless to blame a continent
or a people. so be reasonable and use condoms... :)

offline jonesy from Lisboa (Portugal) on 2002-02-26 09:26 [#00102590]

That "accepted" theory smacks of racism

Ok, maybe im wrong, i've just heard it from everywhere, and

i have no problem with africans of non of their countries...
i mean... surely other problems come from other places...so
what...but there is no need to avoid knowing the origin of a
problem... but i repeate... i dont have any different
thought of african people for that... i like them just as i
like people from spain...i love culture mixture

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't calling anyone a racist. Its
stupid to throw terms around. I just think accepted ideas
often incorporate prejudice into their thinking, and the old
theory about monkeys and people from Africa sounds dodgy

AiDS came out of a German Pharmaceutical firm leasing a
large portion of land in Africa..it was released unwittingly
but just the fact that a virus such as HIV was actually
brewed is the scary bit
