just saw the new dvd at the store for $24.99, do you have
it yet, the first disk looks awesome, 2005 tour fotage, the
second disk is a bonus, with older stuff (the skinny puppy
stuff im not really intested in)

i can get the dvd for around $19.99, but am not intersted in
the second disk, would you want it, be able to chip in for
it, if you dont already own it ?

i saw them in nyc on their last tour. it was really
incredible... one of the best concerts i've ever been to.

You are very lucky r40f, I saw them on Miami Beach on their
1992 US Tour. At least I got to see D.R.Goettel before he
died, but really, their show, and each of them, are one of a
kind experience, never to be forgotten :) I love SP Can't
wait to buy their 2dvd set

no, i should have drove the 3 hours, on the spring2005 tour
to see them but i didnt, the total cost would have been
about $100.00, im totally kicking myself to thhis day for
not :(

i don't know... i meant that last thing loosely. it was
kind of a flippant remark. i would classify them as mostly
industrial and partly other stuff. their sound has changed
over the years, but the core sound is based in industrial
music. they've had countless imitators over the years, none
remotely as good.

that's a great album, but i wouldn't say it's their best.
everyone will give you a different answer to that
question... they went through many different periods.
their early stuff is a combination between old school
industrial and surreal synth-pop, then they did really dense
stuff like vivisectvi... rabies was partially produced by
ministry's al jourgenson to give you an idea of what that
sounds like... then they got into more abstract soundscape
stuff...

try "too dark park" to start with
