Check out . The album, with Reindeer on vocals, is fantastic. Dark, post-modern lyrics about the fucked up state of society ("If God had big tits and a fast car, we'd all buy in"), Boards-esque synth weirdness, crispy beats. It has nice background, but the voice of the MC is real sucky. Check out Sketchie on Lumenessence in stead. |

I agree that the MC's voice is an "acquired taste". I've listened to the album through a few times now and have grown to really like it. Plus, the lyrics and music are fantastic. It is probably the best thing I've heard all year. |
