2 questions to you:

1. is there any way of actually controlling the wet/dry use
of an effect in ableton ? or is there only this stupid
on/off button ?

i mean in fruity you have that button + a knob on the right
so you can regulate how much this effect is used... some
effects don't have a wet/dry controler built-in.

2. is there any way of using some buttons in ableton that
way, that it only is on as long as it's pressed ? or must it
be always on/off ?

theres wet/dry of all effects that use wet/dry, like delay
for example

up to dozens of configurable parameters (knobs) for each
effect. you can also use vsts, dlls

you could bind a midi button or key to a certain effect (or
keyboard key) you can turn effect on and off with a button
in ableton. they dont always have to be on. whlie they are
on you can mess with them live if they are bound to knobs
faders or whatever

man i can't get over your avatar, its fucking awesome

that wasn't really an answer... there are some effects i
would want to use and they DON'T have such a knob!

p.s.: yeah it's fine, the avatar but it's somehow speed up
times 2 on my pc now... dunno why
