I would like some opinions, since i'm planning on
reformatting the thing.

i like your site... this new page has a cool pic, but it's
a bit too big. try and fit it into the screen? and also,
this couldn't hurt: IMG "frontpic.jpg" border=0>

is this the new or the old?

I like the c64 graphics, but I feel it should be cleaner!

The opening page is awkward. the pic seems too big and the
plain text doesnt fit well.

The main page the white looks good on that blue but the
black is hard to read

It's fine Oddio. OK, it looks a bit sloppy in places and yes
it's rrough to say the least, but it does the job.

I like the retro game look, but think maybe the whole site
could reflect that, not just the menu and header, bring it
all into the c64 look, take that side a bit further, would
be my.. thoughts, on the matter.

Black text is too hard to read against the blue.

Other than that I like it.

Oh, one more thing: instead of using filtering when blowing
up the images, why not turn off filtering so that it looks
blocky rather than blurry? That would fit better with the
retro games theme.

thanks for the suggestions. i'll do some work on it.

as for that opening image, that's just temporary because
brinkster destroyed my default page when i upgraded. but i
will change the text color soon.

sorry... i don't Like it...

it's just pLain htmL with an ugLy format...

i mean, font face is disgusting...

and on the initiaL page, type this on the img tag...
border="0", so you can get rid of that ugLy bLue border
around the image....

i mean, i've made websites, i know what i Like, and i don't
Like what i see...

dude, if you want some heLp, i've coded so many htmL's, so
trust me on this one...

and about that Nintendo font...

maybe this is the one

I don't know about what you've already got, but some sites
that are fabulous for different reasons are
magicwindow.co.uk, and Richard Devine's site.

i guess the "Times New Roman" font on aLL of your content
has to be changed...

since that font face is the defauLt in microft office, when
i Look at it, it seems Like the person who wrote that text
didn't care to format the text, that he/she just typed it
and posted it...

verdana is a good choice...

I suggest you hire someone to work on it, someone who types
L instead of l.

you can appLy any font to your site, but if the user that's
browsing doesn't have it, he'LL have to downLoad it, that's
why i use typicaL fonts, that any user has instaLLed...

if you have any further questions, you can contact me at my
email address, which you can see at my xLt profiLe...

got your message...

macromedia dreamweaver is the best option to design/deveLop
any website...

but i'm not so sure on where you have to put your
true type font (ttf) fiLe...

if you're hosting the website on a windows based computer,
maybe you just have to instaLL that font on the server, and
internet expLorer wiLL do the rest, i guess...

i guess firefox never downLoads fonts...

but anyways, use dreamweaver Oddioblender... simpLy the best
tooL...

If you're going to use dodgy fonts, just do the paragraphs
as graphics. If they're too big, then cut down onb what
you're saying.

Just please don't use serif fonts in the body text - arial
or verdana will work better. The times is totally screwing
up your retro computer video game look.
