I have 1.52, does that work?

offline chaosmachine from Ottawa (Canada) on 2005-09-27 20:31 [#01735499]

1.52 doesn't work. if you update it to 2.0, you can use the
2.0 to 1.5 downgrader (just released today)..

nothing beats going into idm threads just to say you only
really listen to punk/hardcore and video game threads to
make sure people know you don't really play video games. :p

from the dictionary...

stu·di·o (stū'dē-ō, styū'-)
n., pl. -os.

1. An artist's workroom.

why don't you call it Chaosmachine Workrooms then? or are
you trying to sound kind of semi-professional..?

and are you saying you have several 'artist's workrooms'
(studios)?

I'm just teasing you, but calling it 'chaosmine studios' is
really just bullshit, you'll have to admit that.. :)

anyway, we all know this is just a huge tease to make us
think it's a fan sequel to kid icarus from the nes, when in
fact it's probably just a bizarre tech demo. :(

well, i have spent most of my free time over the last 2
months developing this game.. programming (several thousand
lines of code at this point), artwork/graphics, level
design, sound/music..

basically, everything that a game studio does, i am doing on
my own. the end result will be a game with the same quality
as something you would pick up off the shelf. or as close as
i can possibly make it.. it's not easy work, and i am only
one person with limited resources. but, so far, it's coming
along very well.

maybe it will turn some heads, and help get me out of this
crappy job in tech support.. or maybe it's really just
bullshit.

They're just ribbing you mate. Keep at it. I don't have a
psp at the moment, but I will be getting one in the next few
months and once I have one, I'll be happy to beta test.

I've got a PSP, so let me know as soon as this is available.
What sort of size are we talking? I take it that it won't
fit onto a 32mb card?

Ceri, I tried to put music, photos and other stuff into my
PSP, nothing to do, it doesn't read the files, I mean when I
remove the USB cable and I try to play them, it says that
there are, for example, 30 MB of 32 MB used, which means
that the files there are into the memory card but the PSP
can't read them. Damn!

Hey,

I have a PSP and I had this problem. What you need to do is,
create new folders on your computer while you're browsing in
the memory card called "PHOTO" and "MUSIC".

Put your files in either folder (or "VIDEO" if you have some
videos) and your PSP should recognize them.

I use it to show friends photos, listen to music, and play
games. It's really come in handy.....

I did it thanks again! I put some photos and music but I
have some problem to put videos, I tried with an "AVI"
perhaps it doesn't recognize them?

Videos have to be in mp4 format, I believe. I use an
application for my mac which converts the files
automatically to mp4, regardless of what type they are.
It's called PSPWare, I dunno if there's something similar
for PCs.

Yep, I think the videos have to be in mp4 format becaue now
I tried also with "wmw" ; "mov" and others extensions but it
still doesn't work. I don't have mac, I'll try to check
PSPWare out. Thanks for your help anyway.

Burnout rocks. It's finallly made the PSP worth the money.
I'm really pissed that I can't use any homebrew with 1.52,
though. I want to play sonic on a genesis emulator.
