Since last week, I've been blowing my nose a lot cause I caught a cold. The problem is that the other I probably lowed too strongly and I started to bleed. Then it stopped and I could blow normally again. But when I woke up the day after, I felt I had to blow my nose and, even if I did that carefully, I started bleeding again. The problem is that I still feel like blowing my nose these days and even if after the morning bleeding, I can blow normally, when i wake up EACH MORNING, as I NEED to blow my nose, I start bleeding again. So I put a piece of cotton. Etc. Every day since last week. That's a pity IMO. Well my story is pretty crappy but it's the truth and tomorrow morning it will probably be the same as today and yesterday : I will feel the need to blow... I don't know when this crazyness will stop. Thx you for your attention. Bye. |

Oh now that I'm aware of the possibility of bleeding, I'm extremely careful, but it doesn't work ! I know I could NOT BLOW MY NOSE but just after having woken up there is a LOT of poop in it... you know how it is when you have caught a cold ! |

You could have burst an artery or vein or something close to the surface inside your nasil cavity, so what happens every time you blow your nose, the scar tissue or something is removed and causes bleeding. As well, this should cause a build up of mucous around the damaged tissue. If you go a couple days without blowing, it will probly right itself without a problem. But you shoud go and see a doctor about that. |

Honestly, its not that serious. Its fairly common (not everyday, but I have known a couple people with the same thing, thats what led me to believe that it is what I described), but still, you should go see a doctor. It could be something far less severe, or worse. |

Well I did't bleed this morning ! In fact I blow the left nostril very slowly and I didn't care about the right one. Then I went to eat and after I tried blowing the right nostril very very carefully and the scab came (this is why I usually bleeding, this scab being removed by the blowing I guess) but this time it is ok, I bleed no more (for the moment). Stay tuned for more news about my nose ! |
