Self hate

How do you deal with self hate. I hate that im not the
person I want to be, that there are some fragments missing.
So I need to channel my self hatred to someone/something
else. I really hate capitalists, they are trying to suppress
me. But the materialist dialect gives me hope, that i can
change for the better.

just go and shag someone. it doesn't matter if they're fat
or ugly, it would probably just do you some good.

you would only hate yourself if you've convinced yourself
you don't have the means to change for the better. if you
love yourself you'll encourage yourself to work on aspects
you'd like to improve and you'll be patient with what is
infallibly a long, careful process.

I secretly believe in my negative self image...thats the
problem...so i reproduce the same behaviour over and over
again. It is an infinite psychotic regression

Self hate is not a problem, self harm however...

uhh self hate is usually an effect of depression and low
self esteem, which can lead to other more serious mental
health problems such as self harm. also if you hate yourself
you get more depressed. you don't get out of bed, you don't
wash you don't eat or sleep, you don't communicate, you
smoke and drink and then you hate yourself for it. its a
viscious cycle. so i would say self hatred is somewhat
something of a problem

then it sounds like you have to find the deep reasons why
you engage in your negative behavior, and work on
understanding those.

i try using NLP techniques (which is essentially about
dealing with/reframing the self-limiting beliefs which led
to the self-hate)

i'm not familiar with logotherapy, but if the logo stands
for logic it could be similar yes. self-limiting beliefs are
often the product of bad logic (often over-generalising).

not surprisingly, a telegraphic messageboard style makes it
difficult to communicate some ideas.

but i do mean that when you type on a messageboard you're
essentially taking the opportunity to talk about yourself.
after all, you're not going to talk about anything you're
not interested in, are you? and the fact is, you're most
interested in yourself, and the evidence is your compulsion
to share what *you* think. when you talk about an "object"
and provide what you think, you may believe that you are
talking about the "object," but you are talking about
yourself, eg your reactions, your impressions, your
associations, your feelings. when you talk about an
"object", you're talking about "albertobalsalm and an
object." there are of course extensive social rules about
how frequently one can talk about "albertobalsalm" without
also incorporating some ostensibly external object or
subject before "genericxltronicuser#1" steps in to slap you
on the wrist and wants to talk about an "object and
genericxltronicuser#1."

i'm not excluding myself from these observations, btw. it
just seems hypocritical to chide someone on a message board
for talking about themselves too much. we're all playing
the same game, but in the end there's only one game, and
only one player.

I'd say making thread after thread focusing on yourself is a
different matter to simply sharing your opinions on music.
;-)

Monoid-simple solution: don't focus on yourself. Try helping
other people. Trust me; all these things will dissappear
once a crisis turns up where you really need to be there for
someone else. You'll lack back on these "issues" and see
them as smoke and mirrors-as a result of constant negative
thoughts that can often be destroyed through distractions
and actually doing something to make a positive difference
to those around you.

That's just talking through personal experience, and may not
apply to anyone else. Also, you may just be taking the
piss/having a laugh...(if you are not, i apoligize.)
