Sky Valley is their best one! ONE
HUNDREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
DEGREEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Space Cadet is also one of
the best "chilled out" acoustic guitar tunes ever.

I also have to recommend Jan Garbarek. A lot. Forck
mentioned Keith Jarrett, which reminded of him since they
did some great shit together.

I also really love the first Queens of the Stone Age album.
After that I'm not really bothered. I bought "Rated R" but
then the old "This is getting too popular" thought kicked in
and I lost interest.

You made me find Sky Valley in my dusty archives.

I love the 2 first albums by QOTSA. The second one is indeed
more accessible, but by no means bad. I had a feeling that
something is going wrong when I first listened to Songs for
the Deaf (though it also had great moments) and the last one
is not worth a mention.

By the way, I can't view messages in any topic if the
selection begins with a number equal or higher to my
standard meassages-per-page number, which is 50.

I quite like QOTSA still. Their new album rocks.

Oh, and I've got to recommend Otomo Yoshihide. Both his solo
work and his Jazz Quartet stuff. One of my favorite artists
for sure!
