can anyone help me with the name of an old vocoder program
and where i could get a copy?

it's a simple piece of software where you typed in the words
you wanted to hear........it would then produce a raw
computerised voice......from memory there were very few
effects.

there were some of them you could dl ages ago, but most of
them were worms. And its not a vocoder thats different.

type in text to speech in google, youll get something.

Try Fruity Loops or google there are pages that let you do
that and save to wave.

It never really payed to have been a total recluse that just
downloaded and archived 'free' music software, but on
occasion it would come in handy.
