my girlfriend went to a waterpark and hurt her neck on a giant halfpipe raftride craphole thing.. i listened to her whimper and hurt all night long so we got up and went to a walk-in clinic at 9 am before she had to go to work and the damn doctor prescribed her some fucking ultram WHAT A RIP OFF FUCKING ULTRAM where's the vicodin? where's the OXY, THE PERCOCET, THE PAINKILLERS?! five ultram and I'm NAUSEATED, NOT PAINKILLED i mean, they aren't working very well for my girlfriend, and i had to overdraft my bank account just to pay for them. LISTEN TO THIS: LISTEN TO THIS, TOO: here, i recorded the sounds of me playing the drums. aside from one of them being creatively vocoded they are raw live recordings. they sound pretty good cause i am a creative bastard. three mics, one nice kickdrum fills up the bass, on on the snare, and one at the other end of the room inside an upright piano pointed at the strings. woohoo for resonance. i sound better on the buckets than a drum kit, but these are kiind of cool. its the second time i've recorded my drumming. it's a little sloppy cuz i haven't played a drum kit or with my feet in years. some of it's pretty sexy though. |

no one is going to comment on my mediocre to original and hype drum skills? i made my girlfriend come 7 times tonight because i couldn't fucking come on this ultram. if you grow this thread I will post pictures of my hot girlfriend for you to look at. she's the hottest girl i've ever seen. |

Heard the first one and am downloading the second. It was definately one of the more interesting things I've heard posted on xltronic, maybe largely because the subtle detail that tracks stamped out with software often lack. I was wondering what your "bucket drumming" would sound like. I was expecting something really fast actually, but this is better than what I thought. I'm still not sure about what you used, like that weird non drum sound. Imaginative quality can greatly be increased when there isn't a software interface or something inhibiting it. You can just realize what you imagine in real time because your brain is so well fit orchestrates your body's arms etc. This track sort of feels like a drawing. |
