rob fragilenine from an analogue bubblebath on 2001-05-28 02:03 [#00007327]

Who here thinks RDJ's old analogue stuff is better than the
computer-produced stuff of his latest releases? I know
they're simple, but I like the old melodies better than the
pure percussiveness of newer tracks like Complex Equation
and Bucephalus...

[REFLEX] from Western Canada on 2001-05-28 02:10 [#00007328]

Yes. Iam totally all for what your saying. i love the old
style!!! the new stuff is awsome too. but nowhere near as
cool as the older shit... definitly...

Ross from can. on 2001-05-28 02:37 [#00007330]

i completely would go for a track like laughable butane bob
or arched maid over some of his new stuff

rob fragilenine from laughable butane bobs house on 2001-05-28 02:45 [#00007332]

yeah LBB kicks

M on 2001-05-28 06:00 [#00007347]

I disagree. And songs like flim and funny little man aren't
pure percussion. The second half of the RDJ album almost was
though.

TekN010G from Australia on 2001-05-28 06:39 [#00007350]

In my opinion complex mathematical equation is the best song
he has ever done (along with windowlicker) I beleive his
new"est" stuff is his best,.. I can'y wait until he releases
more music (if he does)

Arch Rival from NY on 2001-05-28 10:45 [#00007361]

name some tracks that you like that is analogue?

I like his new shit, its more advanced. Girl Boy Song, 4,
Flim, Is-uz, Fingerbib, Windowlicker, Alberto Balsalm etc

SWAI from Denmark on 2001-05-28 15:38 [#00007369]

I really dont know what to say about this.....

i really do think the classics cd is a load of crap!

but on the other hand, a track like track 2 of analouqe
bubblebath is really great, reminds me of an lost track from
windowlicker or something...

i like it all expect for classics!

could someone please exlpain why classics is better than any
other "techno" band out there?

nano from Malmö/Sweden on 2001-05-28 18:16 [#00007373]

Am i the onlyone who doesn't like Windowlicker? I think its
to.. Gluey.. like swimming in pudding.

The other new stuff like CTD, flim, Girl/Boy song, 4 etc are
realy good but i realy love the old hard stuff, "Braindead"
as a friend of mine would say.

Digeridoo/Xylem Tube/Classics is pure pleasure, also some of
the Caustic Window stuff like Industro Garbage Beats/Garden
of Linmiri and We Are The Music Makers (Hardcore Mix).

Mattias from Sweden on 2001-05-28 19:11 [#00007378]

No, i really like Windowlicker, even though i like older
analogue stuff too.
Windowlicker is great cause it´s like.. gluey and..and..
listening to it is like swimming in pudding. Yeah.

po{e} from the uk on 2001-05-28 19:13 [#00007379]

SWAI IS A FOOL!!!!!

classics is classic.....:p

i prefer the older analogue stuff, like i prefer krftwerk
old stuff to their mix stuff, i prefer the blanescu quartet
playing kraftwerk than their modern reproductions

Netlon Sentinel from from from from from on 2001-05-28 19:42 [#00007386]

hey
come to think of it, mathematical equation sounds a lot like
the more experimental autechre tracks. or is it the other
way around?

ps scully is pregnant!!??? naughty, naughty mulder

po{e} from the uk on 2001-05-29 01:01 [#00007410]

heh, mulder finnaly bit the bullet heheheh

yeah, mathmatical equation does, beeps and shit etc

Mattias from Sweden on 2001-05-29 17:42 [#00007472]

I really don´t like it when mulder comes toward that crowd
in the light and he doesnt say ANYTHING. He does´nt ask
them xfilish questions. And off he goes.

nekta killa from bitchville on 2001-05-29 17:50 [#00007475]

i love stuff like equation as it just sends you crazy
thinking how he pieced it all together. its like a long
guitar solo, but better because we don't have to put up with
someone out of dire straights or something doing it. hooray
for me and my vegetables!

TuffPirat from far side of the moon on 2001-05-29 20:44 [#00007491]

I totally agree with Arch Rival

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-05-30 00:22 [#00007519]

It really depends what mood i am in actually. At the moment
i must say i am very much liking the analogue stuff. A bit
ago i was more for the PC stuff. Just depends what i feel
like :-)
