Releasing 8 albums a year doesn't mean you're a hard worker.

yeah but vsnares makes some good music, and quickly.

"vsnares makes some music, and releases it quickly" is more
like what it feels at times.

I'm sure plenty of acts out there makes tons of tracks a
year, but don't necessarily have the urge to release half of
them.

only in 2001 he released something close to what you said:
2 albums
2 mini albums
3 eps

but in the rest of the years he never did more than 4
releases, being 2002 the year with more LPs: 3

1998 (Spells, Subvert!)
1999 (Greg Hates Car Culture)
2000 (printf, fuck canada, Salt, 7 Sevens Med EP)
2001 (Defluxion, HL, CB, MOT,Shitfuckers,SAMC, dollx3)
2002 (higgins, 2370894, witboas,a giant alien...)
2003 (find candance, badminton,einstein..., choc)
2004 (moonglow, horse and goat, hccbu, infolepsy)
2005 (winnipeg, rossz..., meathole, ...)

those guys who sing polka while operating a drumset attached
to their abdomen and playing a violin, blowing a flute, and
holding a donations cup

do any artists work hard?

i mean i'm not doubting they put the work into their art,
but they all have a lot of fucking free time, or the ones
who can live off their art anyway.

Aphex a hardworking artist? WTF man in what world are you
living? ;)

What about I dunno... Neil Young? Bob Dylan who's done 2000
shows in 15 years? Willie Nelson?

Or any Jazz artist that release a couple of disc per year
and has to, you know, pay the bills by playing in jazz clubs
each and every night?

But fucking Richard D. James, that since 1997 has released
officially about what 10 hours of music????

question. agan. (not that it's much of a questopn hihi).

ymenard, aphex breaths music, but yes, it's a shit question
because obviously there are thousands of people like that.

What about Bill laswell, who was doing about the same (not
counting collaberations which there were plenty of).
