oh yeah, and also the heroes remix, is the Philip Glass part
remixed stuff or was that made for the remix?

'gavin bryars - the sinking of the titanic' is an ambient
orchestral piece of music that has been performed and
recorded with differing lengths, it is an "open" piece
containing large repetition of loops, and it's a really nice
listen. look for the version that is about an hour long.

Its a mix that is done from Philip Glass' adaptation of
Heroes that is found in his fourth symphony. Aphex is
sampling it from that and the original song (for the vocals
only).

You can find it in his Symphony #4 The passages are
there, there's a couple of CD available with that passage.
Best thing is to get both tracks to find out 1) what Glass
did to Bowie and 2) What D. James did to Glass! ;)

i'm afraid i don't have any of the remixed tracks... except
from the original AFX ones... : (

but if you manage to collect them all it would be a great
idea to make a playlist from them in the same order. : )

- by the way
in case you don't know, the "remix by AFX" track is actually
a remix from "Flow Coma" by 808 State. (no, i don't have the
original either.)

"Your head my voice" is a remix of Saint Etienne's "Hobart
Paving".
