Emotion in music.

I'm starting to think that the forms in music that we
recognize as something emotional, are the forms that
resemble in some form human actions related to emotions.
example: I had this idea while listening to some stuff on
the radio and then came this melody wich was pretty sad, but
it reminded me of the sound of someone crying, you know
there' a melody when someone cries right? what d'you think
of this?. since i'm not able to make music right now, i want
you to experiment on this idea.. go around recording
children and people laughin, crying playing, screaming, etc.
then recreate those melodies with your fancy music software
into something that makes sense. and lets see how it works.
note that youwon't be using samples of children laughing
that copyright of BOC.

ok i'm not yet hangover.. still drunk fuck.

well, all sound, music or noise, is (scientifically
speaking) a series of waves within certain auditory
frequencies. everything has tone, it's just that some tones
are easier to discern from others.

in my opinion, music is a universal language. anyone can
tell that somebody is "sad" when hearing a song because they
can hear sadness regardless of the lyrics.

I'm not sure. For example, some people say that GEOGADDI is
a dark album but I've album considered it as peaceful and
even joyful.

yeah cygnus. so what? what i'm saying is that succesions of
sounds of, lets say, synthes, that are similar to the
succesions of sounds that come out of your girlfriend
crying will evoke in your head the sadness that you
girlfriend had when you told her you're gay.

oddio: well what i'm saying is that music is a universal
(restricted human) language because the sounds reminds us of
our emotions by direct comparision with events in our life.
