ok im working on this song and its just annoying me, i think it could be great but ive been working with it so long ive l0ost all site on how to make it nice
i really need some input/inspiration the dirty beat sounds to muddy to me and the cheesy break to pitched

I quite like it actually. I dunno what i would change, the melody is very nice, that BOOM stuff kinda distracts from it, maybe you could tone that down a little.

Just don't even bother finishing it; do something more worthwile like killing people. I didn't even listen to it and have no desire to which shows this tracks importance in the grand scheme of things from my perspective at least. It's not an insult to you specifically, but everyone making music is wasting their time. There are lots of people who are walking around living.

lol why is making music a waste of time? not everyone does it in hope of getting signed, i just enjoy writtig tunes, its part of living :P

and dog_belch i have neevr once claimed to be a great artist and so i see no harm in having no musical confidence and doubting my music

Actually, that's a good point. If you can get signed, by all means continue, as the only thing that matters is money. To top it off you'd be conning people into giving you money by merely arranging arbitrary shorter sounds into arbitrary longer sounds. It's a strange ingenious way to take advantage of their chemical weaknesses as memetic replicators. If you don't make any money from it though, then you're just arranging arbitrary shorter sounds into arbitrary longer sounds for no purpose at all other than to achieve an altered state of consciousness. But that can be don by curling up and laying inside the refrigerator for long periods of time. Why struggle with a problem technology has solved?
